Synopsis
Amaryllis is a visually enchanting short film about a teenage girl named Amaryllis from the secluded Gladiolus Garden Village. Struggling with insecurity and a desire for validation, Amaryllis steals a sacred crystal that grants wishes, hoping to become the most beautiful girl in the village. However, her wish backfires as she begins to transform into a flower, with her arms turning to leaves.
In search of a solution, Amaryllis seeks the wisdom of her village’s ancestors, who reveal that true beauty comes from embracing one’s natural self. As Amaryllis races against time to undo the curse, she learns that her journey toward self-acceptance is more important than external appearances.
Returning to the village, Amaryllis confesses her actions and encourages the villagers to embrace their unique beauty. In the end, she regains her human form and finds peace with who she truly is, teaching a powerful lesson about the value of self-love and the dangers of seeking external validation.
