Synopsis:

Evil People follows Lester Rader, a psychopathic serial killer, as he reflects on his life and the dark path he’s taken while incarcerated. Through candid conversations with visitors, Lester confronts the trauma of his abusive upbringing, where the brutality of his parents shaped his worldview and ultimately fueled his violent actions. As he opens up about the evil he inflicted on others, the film examines how acts of evil are learned behaviors, influenced by one’s environment and experiences. Lester’s chilling introspection forces the audience to question the impact of societal and personal influence on an individual’s moral compass, leaving viewers to ponder: What are we contributing to the world around us?
